Our Production Planning and Control Manager with influential leadership will guide and manage the overall functional operation of Estimating, Purchasing, Scheduling and Production Planning. Through the support of their team responsibilities include attaining profitable quotes, analyzing sales forecasts, determining and managing inventory requirements, coordinating and expediting the flow of work, and building strong relationships with internal and external customers.

Success Requires:

A passionate, dynamic leader with capability of achieving results.

  • 7 - 10 years of progressive manufacturing experience within estimating, production planning, scheduling and inventory management;

    • Having a bachelor's degree in engineering or Business Admin related discipline (CIM, CPIM, APICS) is an asset;

    • Combinations of experience and relevant courses will also be considered;

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience supervising or leading a team of 5 or more employees;

  • Demonstrated experience with strategic planning and allocation of resources, materials, and scheduling;

  • Must have a positive, professional attitude; good communication and interpersonal skills;

  • Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, time and priority management are necessary for success;

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline driven environment; adapt to change and work under pressure;

  • Ability read and work with production work orders, blueprints, and diagrams;

  • Experience with lean manufacturing, production processes, estimating and quality management systems

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office programs is a requirement;

  • Familiar with ERP systems and ability to quickly adapt to Dumur's ERP system

Your Objective through effective leadership includes but is not limited to:

  • Oversees all aspects of all Production Planning and Control Operations;

  • Develops, maintains, monitors, and initiates actions based on Operations metrics to support and drive efficiencies;

  • Drives a culture of accountability and results through strategic and effective performance management;

  • Works closely with engineering, production and quality departments to be pro-active in preventing and managing manufacturing challenges;

  • Develops, implements, and executes processes and procedures that assure quality adherence to all customer and regulatory requirements;

  • Assures and develops staff alignment and capacity to meet business demands;
